To be back in Paraguay...can't even describe how that feels! I mean...wow...so much emotion just overcomes you. We crossed the border at night...so didn't do much...but the first thing we did when we left our hotel room that next morning...buy a cold Pulp from the little dispensa. Amazing! Pulp is a soda made with bits of pulp...my favorite flavor being Pomelo...and cold...drinking from a straw...wow! Amazing! We then shopped a little...since you can find anything there...so many electronics/watches/clothes/and our favorite...Paraguayan craftsmanship! We love the hand stiched Nanduti...so gorgeous. The crazy thing about the day was 5 minutes into walking around...we saw a familiar face...one of the missionaries we both served with 5 years ago Elder Montenegro. He was on vacation with his wife...they are from Uruguay...and they only had 2 hours in Ciudad del Este as part of their tour...can you imagine? We were only out shopping for 4 hours...and he 2...and we ran into each other. The Mormon World is seriously small! So happy for that!
Regresando a Paraguay...impresionante los sentimientos! La primera cosa que hicimos al salir del hotel fue comprar una bebida...solo fabricada en Paraguay se llama Pulp. Esta hecha de pulpa y nos encanta el sabor de Pomelo. Fue tan rico! Despues hicimos compras de cositas...nuestras cosas preferidas fueron las cosas artesenales...tan hermosas! Fue loco cuando nos encontramos con un Elder Montenegro de nuestra mision 5 anos atras. El estaba ahi con su esposa...son Uruguayos...y tenian 2 horas como parte de su tur para hacer compras...y nosotros unos 4 horas ahi...y nos encontramos! Que mundo Mormon chiquitito! Loco!

Oh my word, how FUN to be back in Paraguay!!! I can't wait for the day that we get to go. And that is so great that you "happened" to run into Montenegro there. I loved being in Ciudad del Este. It just had a different feel than around Asunción. So great!
