My sister Carolyn lent me her copy of this great book...the Help. It was a fantastic read...one of those books where you never bother looking at how many pages there are (even though it has about 500) because you are too enthralled in what is going on in the book. It was a fast read and very enjoyable. I read this book after visiting The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change and thought it was a great way for me to see the perspective of the people living during the Civil Rights Movement. After finishing the book Carolyn went to go to see the movie in the theater. It was great! Highly recommend it!
