Sometimes...when you don't know how to make a particular dish...that you want to eat...you simply have to go out. So last night...we did...and loved it.
There is a dish here called Pastel de Choclo...or Corn Cake. May not sound yummy...but it is! You have to use fresh ground corn...and onions...and ground beef and chicken...and cook it all together...it is delicious. It is another Chilean traditional dish passed on by the Mapuche Indians. We had a hard time finding a place serving it at dinner time...since lunch here is the biggest...so we headed to downtown of downtown Santiago...the Plaza de Armas or the main square. Ernesto picked what he wanted to too.

Enjoy!
On our way home...as we walked through the Parque Forestal behind the Museo de Bellas Artes...we discovered "Documentales en el Parque Forestal...2011" or Documentaries in the Park" so we stayed.
We watched a documentary about a Brazilian village in the Amazon...with rich resources that others started to buy...leaving them with a hole of memories. It was interesting and in Portuguese so I enjoyed it.
Too bad we had to leave early since Azaléia could not handle being quiet and still any longer.
Don't you love kids? We had a conversation on the way home about how you have to change what you do when you have kids...not all the time...but sometimes. Having kids is a challenge at times...trying your patience in all ways...but how glad I am that Azaléia is part of our lives...we love her so much!
