The Louisiana Dellenbachs came to Georgia for the 4th of July holiday and we had a blast of fun!
The first day we went to the delicious Highland Bakery and saw the the Centennial Park Olympic rings. Before they headed to Savannah we swam at our pool and played games.

The Crab Shack - Tybee Island
We all met up in Savannah, Georgia at the Baggetts home to spend time together.
Lunch on the 4th was at The Crab Shack on Tybee Island. Seriously an awesome restaurant in every way. The locale, the food, the alligators, the exotic birds...everything about the atmosphere made you feel like you were somewhere else. It was the first time I ate crab... craw fish...and I must say...yum yum. The kids loved it when Tio Nesto put the craw fish on his fingers. If you go to Tybee Island...a must stop.

The kids played at the house very well together. It isn't everyday that you get to play with all your cousins. I french braided Ella and Azaléia's hair just about everyday. Azaléia's first time with french braids...so cute!
Tybee Island on the 4th
It was low tide day...and the actual ocean water was really really far away...but we found a little water hole situation and had a blast all together. The kids swam and swam and splashed and splashed. I think Azaleia loved Tio Luke being the shark more than anything. Those Dellenbach kids certainly are fishes!
That night we were very tired from a long day in the sun...but still managed to drive closer to downtown Savannah for the fireworks. The kids had so much fun with the glow sticks and pop its!
River Street - Savannah
One day was spent downtown Savannah...more than anything shopping for sweets. Chocolate pralines are soooo delicious. This time we all went to Leopald's Ice Cream Shop with a Hollywood flare. The ice cream was creamy delicious and it was a perfect escape from very hot and humid weather that hit us there. After the ice cream we headed to see the new Disney movie BRAVE...Grandma's treat. Good movie!
Hilton Head Island - South Carolina
We had a lovely time in Hilton Head. The water felt great...just a little too windy. We realized how much more we loved that little hold of water at Tybee and decided to take up the offer of the Baggetts good friend Caro...and all went swimming in her enclosed outdoor pool. That really was the most fun! The Dellenbach kids are such good swimmers. It really pumped up Azaléia to swim better...to be more daring in the water...and it was just beautiful. We had so much fun swimming that we didn't take any pictures. :)

Overall it was a magnificent mini reunion with the Louisiana Dellenbachs, Grandma, and the Baggetts!
