Ernesto and I had a combined birthday celebration with Carolyn and Charlie...and Char Char in between our birthdays. It is so nice to have family close enough to get together for birthdays. The Dellenbachs have a birthday tradition of singing a million happy birthday songs. So having Carolyn here to sing was special. It's just not the same without the million birthday songs. Thanks Tio y Tia y Char Char!
After a few of Ernesto's birthday celebrations...we were done with chocolate cake...so I made a whole wheat almond cake...and served it with berry compote and vanilla ice cream...and it was delish!
