Azaleia's January 2012

We rang in the New Year with a new southern tradition...collard greens, black eyed peas and corn cakes!
For some reason it sounded good with hot dogs...and we enjoyed it more than we would have thought.  It supposedly brings a prosperous year...and we certainly hope so.  The ingredients were everywhere in the super market...and they were quite inexpensive...so it seemed a shame not to begin a new tradition.
Para el an~o nuevo comimos comida tipica del sur de los EEUU. Supuestamente ayuda a traer un prospero an~o nuevo. Ojala que resulte.
Some friends from our ward re-gifted a Dora House Extraordinaire with tons of Dora people and furnishings.  Azaleia really enjoys playing with her Dora House.  It was like Christmas again for her.
Alguien en la iglesia le regalo a azaleia una casa de Dora la Exploradora. A sus padres les encanta seguir llenando la casa de juguetes.

We met some new friends at the park from Chile...and went with them to the aquarium one day. We love looking at all the fishes.  We even got to watch the Dolphin show.  This day the penguins especially loved interacting with Azaleia.  It was so fun to watch them follow each other's hands in the water.
Azaleia tiene poderes de aquaman. Sabe hablar con los pescados y pinguinos.

Silly Azaleia having fun in her Papa's jacket.  I wish she could stay this little longer.

The many expressions of the little misses.  That girl has some girl attitude for sure.
No me pregunten lo que estaba pensando, pero parece que era importante

Charlie and Azaleia love stickers and love playing together most of the time.
Con su primo Charlie..cuando no estan peleando...se llevan bien.

Someone regifted that same Dora house to Julianna years ago, and I regifted it to another girl! I wonder where it is now? Cute pictures!
