My friend Amber and her daughter met up with us at Stone Mountain Park for their Christmas festivities. It was a good time...a little chilly...but fun to be out and not at home while Ernesto studied for finals. Her husband is doing a PhD and was in finals too...so us mommies escaped. The holiday parade and "The Gift" train ride was really refreshing. I love living in the south were celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ is welcomed and enjoyed. It was a lovely night out!
