One day I pulled out the sewing machine and some old fabric not touched in years by my mother...and made the lap quilt and the apron for Azaleia! I used a disappearing 9 stitch patch idea from Cluck Cluck Sew for the quilt. I am so proud of myself for creating the apron...no pattern...just started sewing pieces together. Azaleia loves aprons...because she loves to help me do anything and everything. I hope to instill a love for anything and everything...from cooking and cleaning to painting and sewing...so hopefully she has many positive experiences now to help me out in the future! I love my little helper! For the 4th we swam and ate at Chris & Drew's in Corona...and saw the fireworks from their own street. So fun to be close to family! Uncle Rob's bbq was very good too!
