We are very happy with where we live. It has been perfect in so many ways!
We live on the edge of Bellavista which has a thriving night life...Bellas Artes which has lovely museums and parks...and Patronato which has lots of shopping...of everything you can imagine.
We wandered out one evening to see the night life of Bellavista...
and found The London Band playing at the Bellavista Patio. It was so fun to dance and sing to the Beatles with all of the Chileans there. The guitarist 2nd to the Left was too cute...playing the Paul character...even moving his head like Paul did. It was really fun!
Then we crossed the rio Mapocho...which during the day looks like chocolate milk
...but at night...projected with colorful art...it is rather beautiful.
There were tons of people walking around and looking at the art...so neat!

Before we came home we passed the Teatro en el Puente...which is Theatre on a Bridge. I'm so excited because we are hopefully going to a theatrical dance production there tomorrow.
Unique use of space...no? I think it must add to the performance just thinking of where you are.
All this within 10 minutes walking from our apartment. I love downtown life!
